Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance Team Members to join our clients team base in Burnley/Richmond area.

Our client is a trusted provider of groundskeeping and Open Space services across Australia. With a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and quality, they deliver grounds maintenance to a wide range of clients including councils, schools, hospitals, and commercial facilities. They pride themselves on and strive to create safe, vibrant, and accessible open spaces for our community to enjoy.

With a strong focus on service, the Groundskeeper will service and operate company equipment safely and perform all necessary duties to create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to; earthmoving, turf care mowing, trimming, spraying, cleaning, and other tasks related to the upkeep and design of both external landscapes.

Duties of the role:

  • Operating hand and ride-on mowers to mow parks, gardens and sport ovals
  • General property/parks and facility maintenance tasks
  • Driving a company vehicle to and from different sites to complete duties
  • Towing vehicles and other machinery as required
  • Loading/unloading equipment used for property maintenance
  • General gardening duties: shoveling, raking, sweeping, blowervac
  • Operating Hand/power tools
  • Safe use and maintenance of basic tools, brush cutters and ride on or hand mowers
  • Pruning and weeding gardens
  • Use of fertilizer/herbicides as instructed by relevant supervisor
  • General cleaning duties (as required)
  • Sporting fields and Grounds maintenance
  • Earthmoving (soil works)
  • Turf care
  • Pack up after work duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in or similar fields
  • Full Australian Drivers licence -mandatory
  • Police check required
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 25ks)
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
